The Africa Forward 2026 Summit, to be held in Nairobi on May 11–12, aims to mark a concrete step forward in the partnership between African and French public and private stakeholders.
AFIC – Africa-France Impact Coalition is fully aligned with this momentum.
Led under the leadership of President Emmanuel Macron and coordinated by the French-African Foundation, the coalition brings together more than 40 business leaders from Africa and France. Together, they generate over €100 billion in annual revenue in Africa, employ more than one million people across the continent, and invest over €40 billion there each year.
Through the coalition, they are joining forces to accelerate economic exchanges between Africa and France, and more broadly Europe, by unlocking new opportunities in trade, investment, and talent development.
AFIC’s manifesto sets out a shared ambition: to accelerate Africa’s industrial transformation through a renewed economic partnership, grounded in co-production, investment, and shared sovereignty.
It outlines a concrete roadmap to build a more integrated and resilient Africa–Europe corridor.
